![]() ![]() Usually the safest runs i've had were the ones that i removed most of my 2-3 mana spells and kept most of the 1's, only higher cost card i had was the boomerang to root the enemies, i usually prioritized getting that card to -1 mana cost upgrade. It is one of the fastest paced ones i played. This game definitely threw me off the first few tries, despite the many roguelikes i've played. Seemed great for on the go, and in a sense it's quite nostalgic to how one could play the MMBN series on the GBA/DS. ![]() (Oh, and i got this on the Switch, not here, in case you wonder. Still only have the starter character, so, yeah. Been making a beeline for the campfire every zone but i should probably prioritize the store and heal there if i got the money for a potential medkit or dare the pacts (they remind me of the Chaos deals in Hades, heh). Well, atleast i did happen to read about things such as how bosses can be killed (i guess you get an artefact?) or spared and they just help out in their own way (seems sparing is the easier option?), and how rabbits aparrantly apply +1 (doesn't seem worth it with luck also increasing difficulty), and how red map markers seem to lead to a "dark route" with enhanced loot/enemies/bosses (gonna avoid that for now).īut if anyone has a good/general strategy to follow then yeah, that'd be neat. I hope.)Ĭould figure out the hard way what mana cost is, money (which i rarely get to spend), damage, and other card information but it seems hard to get a grip on what the general strategy is regarding routes, what's worth doing and what isn't (distress beacons seem ill worth it when one often lacks the required tool and has to react at lightning speed), and what would be a good growth strategy regarding weapons/artefacts (and if/when one should discard rewards). ![]() (Well, atleast this game doesn't have the instant-ally-regen&revive viruses with 300+HP with unavoidable AOE that requires a double/triple kill with 300+ DMG program combos!. The enemies also feel sometimes like you're playing a MMBN game and ended up in the dark/:P I suppose part of a roguelike is to learn, but this game does not explain anything. ![]()
